Winter Better Not.

With one week to go, Southern Illinois World has begun to freeze over. I have been waiting tables on overnight shifts and, when I walk outside at 8am, I am finding my car covered in frost. UMMM...I'm not sure what day it is, but I'm pretty sure its not FREAKING January. No, its November. So what is happening? Is this a biblical freeze out or some kind of polar malfunction? Everyone is posting "Winter is coming." BETTER NOT!! I'm just trying to migrate to the deep south.Yes, I'm complaining about 20 degree weather and it could be 20 below, but, with NOLA just around the corner, I am done.

There is no chance I will be flaking out on my plans this time. As I write this I am sitting with my back to a fireplace in my favorite coffee store. I'm trying not to crawl into this fire. It is just too cold for November. I'm constantly checking the weather in Louisiana, because I refuse to cope with this again. Like I said...
